A distinctive feature of saury is the skeleton of an unusual greenish colour, which is due to dietary habits, the basis of the diet of this fish is a variety of marine plankton. Not so long ago, Japanese doctors discovered the most important property of polyunsaturated fatty acids contained in saury: with their frequent consumption, the risk of liver cancer is significantly reduced and the risk of cardiovascular diseases is reduced.
