Delicious cod liver has a mild taste and a pleasant texture. It is usually served as a snack, in salads, pies and soups, stuffed eggs or pancakes, pates and sauces. Due to the high content of easily digestible fish oil, canned food is recommended by nutritionists.
Canned food is available in two versions. Natural are pieces of product with spices and salt, sterilized in a can. The Murmansk-style cooking method involves preliminary grinding of raw materials to the consistency of a paste and subsequent canning with natural additives.

Despite the rather high price of canned food made from natural cod liver, they are in steady demand. They are bought for the festive table and included in the daily diet.
